NO SUGAR-COATING

Not sugar coating is a big thing for me. I started off using skincare and makeup as a poor college student, living off of (mostly) samples for years, and despite having more than what I have now, I'll never sugarcoat my thoughts or give you only the positives in my reviews. I've committed myself to being honest about products I use, whether it's bought with my own money or sent to me for free. I'll also note in the top portion of my blog posts if the particular product has been sent to me, but it will never influence my honest thoughts on the performance/worth of a product. I am also an everyday consumer, so I'm going to live and see products through that lens-not from a "trying-to-suck-up-to-brands lens", nor from a "I'm too good for x/y/z" lens. I'm just another girl who loves beauty products and tries to save as much cash as she can at the same time! And I want to tell you my two cents on what's worth it or not.

I feel very blessed to be able to have this as my hobby, and I hope that this is a space that you can trust me to at least give my honest thoughts. Everyone's skin is different, and I'm no dermatologist so please take everything with a grain of salt. I have combo-oily skin, and like everyone else I have my preferences. What may not work for me may work wonderfully for you so please keep that in mind!
