November Empties

I can’t believe December is already here and very soon it’ll be 2019! Ahhh! On December 1st morning I said to my husband “it’s December today which means it’s practically Christmas…today”. Before it’s too late, here are a few things I used up last month.

  1. VERB Ghost Shampoo ($16)*

VERB makes things simple for you. All of their products are $16 and for a clean hair care brand, that’s definitely reasonable, taking into account that they do promos. They’re sulfate and paraben free, and I love their shampoos and conditioners! Often I feel like clean hair care brands sacrifice efficacy to develop clean haircare but I definitely don’t feel this way about VERB’s shampoo and conditioners. After the expensive Briogeo conditioner failed me, I fell in love even more for this one. Plus, I love that the scent reminds me of Sprite! (I know, interesting, right? I think you’ll know what I mean once you take a whiff). This does sud up and just makes my hair feel clean. I may or may not be waiting for a deal to restock. ;) Years later and as I’m editing this, I can say that this shampoo is still in my stash and I still love it just as much! And if you shop thru me I do get a percentage, and you get 10% off.

  2. LATHER Cranberry Body Scrub ($22)

I used this up within 2 months I’m pretty sure. This isn’t too abrasive but at the same time is dense with sugar and cranberry seeds to exfoliate. I think LATHER is able to achieve this because the cranberry seeds are round, making it a tiny bit gentler than a product that solely uses sugar crystals to scrub. Love the scent; it’s so fall/winter! This would definitely make a great pampering gift for the holidays.

  3. Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy (Mini)

This mini actually lasted me a long time! It’s 0.07oz and a little definitely goes a long way. Fresh definitely makes some of the most effective and luxe lip balms out there, so I’d recommend pretty much anything lip related from Fresh. This one not only creates a barrier for your lips on these winter days, but the sugar acts as a humectant that draws moisture to the lips. So. Good. Worth the full size price.

  4. Enature Birch Juice Hydro Cream ($32)

Extensive review here. This is honestly my favorite moisturizer of all time I’m pretty sure. Which is saying a LOT. I have combo-oily skin and this hydro cream is a gel-cream hybrid that doesn’t feel suffocating on the skin. Birch juice (the #1 ingredient) deeply hydrates but the gel-cream texture makes it still lightweight. Honestly I could see any skin type using this and being happy with it! Such a win for me. Target sells this as well (online only I believe) so if there’s any deals snatch some up. Or if that’s still too much $$, the Cosrx Birch Juice moisturizer is pretty much almost the same but for less.
