Performance:
Before I begin, understand that wet hair=weak hair.

Before using this, I used to just wrap my hair in a towel like a turban, but it would always fall apart. But once I started using this, I’ll never go back to that, and tbh, I’m just going to stick with this brand for the rest of my life. I have very thick hair that takes forever to air dry, so if this was going to cut down heat+time drying my hair, BIG plus. But of course as always I was skeptical. After washing my hair I’ll use the towel I use for my body to squeeze out as much water as I can, then after getting dressed, I’ll whip my hair up in this turban and just do what I need to do: washing dishes, taking the dog out (yes, I’m that shameless), chores, or just simply relaxing in bed.
The time my hair spends in this turban varies, anywhere from 30min-1 hr+ depending on when I feel like I want to blow dry my hair. I can’t say with 100% certainty that this decreased the time by half because I don’t even remember how long it used to take me anymore, but I can say that it did decrease the time significantly. I can’t not blow dry my hair. It seriously would never dry. So if I have to, I’ll want to decrease damage and decrease the time needed to blow dry my hair. And this has done both of those for me, since time in heat & hair damage goes hand in hand. This turban is a must have for travelling as it’s very lightweight and itself dries easily. This turban plus the Aquis hair towel that I also own together is lighter than one regular cotton towel that I use for my body. I’ll gladly gift this to alllll my girlfriends because I love it that much!
Verdict:
Every single penny. This has reduced time, energy, and has allowed me to be more mobile about the house while allowing my hair to dry faster and be pulled back at the same time.
Save Some $:
I’ve actually seen this at TJ Maxx before for $10, but since you never know what you’re gonna find at Marshalls/TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond is the only place where you can get it consistently get it at a lower price. Don’t forget those 20% off coupons!
